Security365™ Plantation Shutters
Versatile:Available in hinged, sliding and bi-fold systems. Can be used as hinged security doors, sliding doors or shutters, fixed window shutters, a patio enclosure, privacy screen, or a bi-folding door and window.
Durable: Being aluminium, these shutters will not shrink, split, fade or warp. They offer obvious fire advantages and significant maintenance advantages over timber/polyurethane shutters. Highly water resistant and with a durable finish making them every bit as effective for both indoor and outdoor use (e.g. Patio Enclosures).
Design: Security365™ Plantation Shutters consist of an 88mm aluminium eliptical blade containing a reinforced core, which pivots within an aluminium security frame. Blades are connected to an operating rod neatly located to the side of each shutter.
Locking Systems: Locking with a key operated lock, that throws strong, stainless steel 8mm diameter locking pins into the surrounding frame or structure. Triple locking and a handle also available.
Flyscreening: Keep unwanted pests and mosquitos out! Available with flyscreening which detaches via easily operated turn-buttons.
Standard Colours: Interpon Satin White or Jotun Satin White Birch”. Other Satin finish colours at an additional cost.
Australian Standards: Our hinged plantation shutters have undergone testing by a NATA approved laboratory to meet Security Screen Standards AS5039 & AS5040 [type 2, class B]. For more information on this please refer SECURITY TESTING.
