ATDC has installed its unique and versatile foldaway double diamond mesh barriers to secure all the public entry areas and access points into Caddens Corner, a new neighbourhood shopping centre in Penrith.
The double diamond mesh barriers on this project each have lever handles for emergency egress as they secure public thoroughfares. The double diamond mesh is unique in that it prevents persons reaching through these barriers to activate the lever handles from the outside and in this way the integrity of these systems is maintained.
Specified by Crows Nest based, Nettleton Tribe architects, these barriers are mobile, trackless and relocatable. Project Managers for this site are Mainbrace Constructions.

ATDC’s Side-by-Side overhead retractable door system is an ingenious concept in storage space minimization whilst being quite simple in its execution.
Through a simple system of parallel overhead tracks (double or triple track configuration) and aided by a series of seamless up/down locking mechanisms, the side stacking storage space for these doors can be reduced to a mere 6% of the overall opening span which is being secured.
Attached is a photograph of a recent such installation by ATDC for Oakleigh Gourmet Deli at Oakleigh Central in Melbourne, the specifying architect was Docklands based Elvin Tan Design Studio.

ATDC has recently installed its retractable heavy duty security doors to the entry and exit areas at Balcatta Senior High School in Perth.
Specified by the West Australian office of Hassell Architects, the S06 model security door installation was part of the current redevelopment project at the Balcatta School.
Using multiple up/down locking mechanisms the school is now able to achieve seamless lock up without the need for any cumbersome floor tracks with their attendant trip hazard risks. This makes these large security doors (nearly 4700mm wide 3800mm high) very easy to operate and is very effective in securing schools, universities, colleges, kindergartens, tafe’s and other similar educational facilities.
Project managers for the installation were Balcatta based, PS Structures.
