The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has completed a project for Krispy Kreme at Chatswood Interchange, Sydney, having installed its precision engineered slimline folding security shutter to Krispy’s new storefront.
This project follows on a recent successful door installation by ATDC at Krispy Kreme’s new Parramatta store.
Krispy Kreme is a global doughnut and coffee chain. It was founded in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA .The company employs more than 4300 staff and operates in more than 1000 locations across the globe.
Project managers for this job were Richmond+Ross who are based in Crows Nest, Sydney.
Powdercoated in a gloss white finish with transparent polycarbonate infills, ATDC’s high end slimline 150mm panel folding security shutter was installed to a height of 3100mm but can notably be installed to a maximum height of 4500mm.The maximum span for these folding doors is unlimited and they can easily traverse radius curved apertures.
ATDC manufactures a wide range of folding security shutters to complement the 150mm wide panel door. These include its 200mm and 300mm wide panel shutters.

ATDC has recently installed its movable security barriers to secure this Flight Centre tenancy in Townsville, QLD.
With only a limited period left on Flight Centre’s current lease and with its existing overhead doors non operational, ATDC’s movable security barriers were the lock up ideal solution since they could be installed quickly and at relatively low cost .As the barriers are trackless there was no need to secure the full height of the shopfront. Being movable they are able to be stored back of house and so no expensive modifications to the storefront were required to facilitate this installation.
These relatively inexpensive movable security barriers have become a popular lock up solution for retailers in the tough current trading environment .Furthermore they are also available for hire or rental for short, medium or long term leases.

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) ‘s versatile security doors are an ideal method of securing the often difficult contours of angled bench tops, counter tops, serveries and reception areas.
ATDC recently installed its curved steel security door to suit the hexagonal shaped bar counter at the Skyring Terrace’s Haven Kiosk at Newstead in QLD.
Architecturally specified by TwoHill & James of Fortitude Valley, QLD, this unique folding security door was configured in a curved format with four off 600mm corner radius curves .The door was designed without the use of any floor track and is instead secured by a series of intermediate up/down locks and commercial grade patio bolts to facilitate seamless lock up without the need for any cumbersome removeable mullions. A professional high gloss pearl white powdercoat finish was applied to the door for this project.
Project managers for the job were Lamberts of Coopers Plains.
