Lonestar Rib House at Edmonson Square Town Centre near Sydney is one of many retailers at this shopping centre that have installed retractable security gates to provide lockup of their premises after trade.
ATDC’s S06 heavy duty security gate was the nominated door for this project ,having been specified in a black satin powdercoat finish by Sydney based designer Interior Life. The 11 metre span door was designed as a bi-parting system locking in the centre and stacking back to a very compact factor of only 8% of the overall span at each end.

ATDC’s 3-way action retractable security screens have been installed at Bluestar Eyewear at their recently opened QLD store.
These lightweight, space efficient retractable security screens are completely trackless and hence require no overhead support structure. They can fold back sideways on themselves, rotate up to 90 degrees if required and operate as a hinged gate in other applications-a unique and innovative 3-way action presenting multiple options to the operator.
ATDC recently installed its innovative S07-2 dual track concertina doors at a project at Richmond Quarter near Melbourne.
Specified by Docklands based ElvinTan Design, ATDC installed 3 of these large concertina door systems for De Marias Grocer to a height of 3600mm each on a dual top track mechanism and designed to reduce the overall storage stack space to only 10% of the opening spans.( when unlocked and folded back)(The widest of these apertures being approximately 13.5 metres wide).
Project managed by Dandenong based Sabrina Shopfitting, ATDC uses a system of multiple intermediate up/down locking systems so that the installation has the further advantage that it achieves a seamless lock up and so alleviates the need for any floor track at all. And with the open style grille mesh infill on these doors, the fresh food retailer has maximum ventilation through the metal cross links.
ATDC has recently installed its S08 curved security gates to secure the bar area at the new Proclamation Park Pavilion in Ringwood near Melbourne. The Pavilion is owned by the Maroondah City Council.
The gate was specified by East Melbourne based CO-OP Studio and the project managers were Circon Commercial Constructions.
The satin black powdercoated gate which retracts sideways back to one side when unlocked and opened, was able to traverse a special radius curve of 1144mm and has no floor track so as not to obstruct the counter top of the bar.
The S03™ and S06™ trellis doors passed this test by withstanding a force of 450N being applied to its locking style. i.e. the same effect as an intruder attempting to lever open our 3-point locking system.
The S03™ and S06™ trellis doors passed this test by withstanding a repeated impact force of 100 joules from a 40kg lead ball i.e. the same effect as an intruder attempting to kick his way through the security door.
The S03™ and S06™ trellis doors passed this test by withstanding a repeated pulling force of up to 2kN i.e. the same effect as an intruder attempting to pull out the security door or window.
