Project Design Specifications

This custom made curved folding door was supplied to suit an aperture 6600mm wide x 3500mm high on this architect specified project and it was fabricated with a special radius to suit. Lock up was achieved Seamless lock up was achieved through a series of up/down locks. As this folding door is installed at the entry of a shopping centre with high pedestrian foot traffic it was essential that there was no floor track which would have been a trip hazard.

ATDC has installed its flexible and versatile folding security gates commercial S08 curved folding security door to secure the 7500mm wide curved benchtop at the reception counter to the Burnie Arts Function Centre at Burnie in Tasmania

Typical such applications include securing the entries to railway stations, ferry wharves, airport terminals and bus depots, many of these buildings also having heritage facades which need to preserve a certain appearance.

ATDC has recently completed an installation of its safety barriers at two recent NSW State Government railway station upgrades, namely at Sydney’s Central Railway Station and also at St Mary’s Railway Station.

ATDC has installed one of its markets leading accordion doors to secure the large retail tenancy for Connor at Coffs Harbour in New South Wales

PRODUCT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS.

This natural anodized 8500mm wide x 3000mm high door was manufactured from heavy duty extruded aluminum sections. The door curtain comprised 300mm wide stacking panels and was a clear polycarbonate infill which maximizes through visibility.

A series of intermediate up/down locking mechanism allows for a seamless finished product that requires no floor track, no removeable mullions and virtually no headroom

The accordion door followed the curvature of the angled tenancy line through two (2) X  90-degree curves to a 600mm standard radius.

Mad Mex is a multinational chain of Mexican fast-food restaurants.

The very wide shopfront opening is secured by a single electric operated roller shutter 6500mm wide x 3200mm high. It has a midrail installed in the centre of the shutter curtain which provides extra stability, and two (2) high quality Omega key switches were installed as an extra security control and loss prevention tool. Shutters spanning such a wide frontage in a single unit are not recommended for external installations.
