What Did We Install for this Shopping Centre
In this post are project photographs for three of these installations namely for Harry Hartog Booksellers (project managed by NSW based Belway Constructions), for Hype (project managed by Victoria based NRG Projects) and for Stylerunner (project managed by QLD based LSC Shopfitting Australia).
Both Harry Hartog and Hype have their folding doors finished in a striking black duralloy powdercoated finish. The Harry Hartog door has the additional feature of an emergency breakout door, which permits emergency egress according to the relevant BCA regulations.

How Do Our Security Doors Work?
Trade specifiers and end-users alike are taking to these cutting edge commercial folding doors, which have a low friction operation with their interlocking hinged folding panels suspended by a series of heavy duty industrial grade top wheel carriages from an extruded aluminium top track.
This low resistance operation promotes both functional integrity and longevity and facilitates ease of operation by the operator on the ground. The extruded top track can traverse radius curves to accommodate curved and angled apertures such as curved shopfronts, curved showroom windows, curved counter tops, reception areas and office frontages.

Spanning an impressive opening of 11 metres wide by 4 metres in height, this 300mm wide panel folding door operates from a heavy-duty extruded top track. The top track is suspended from an overhead support beam, providing the necessary stability and durability for such a large installation. This robust construction ensures the door operates smoothly and reliably, catering to the high traffic and demanding conditions of a retail environment.
Seamless Lock-Up with Intermediate Locks
The folding door provides a seamless lock-up solution with a series of intermediate up/down locks.
