CSL utilized ATDC’s retractable barrier at each end of the production lines in their Melbourne production facility to assist management in maintaining a clean, sterile area and so assisting their strict quality control and OH+S requirements.
ATDC’s trackless retractable barrier was CSL’s preferred product to resolve their OH+S and quality control issues-the retractable barrier is formidable and strong given its rigid steel construction and its multi-point locking mechanisms provide a secure lockup solution whilst its trackless construction mean its economical and flexible. ATDC’s retractable barriers are also available in a double diamond mesh configuration meaning the cross linkages are tightly woven together resulting in a 65 mm pitch between the steel sections making it virtually impossible for a person to put their hand through the door to reach objects on the other side of the barrier. With ATDC’s retractable barrier having keyless egress locking in cases requiring emergency exit, BCA compliance can be achieved in most applications.
