Innovative Commercial Security Screens Secure Wide Openings

ATDC’s Innovative Commercial Security Screens can secure wide openings with minimal headroom and sloping Floors.  ATDC’s recent installation of its S06 Commercial Security Screens at the Dendy Cinema at King Street, Newtown had to overcome some interesting challenges.

The project presented very wide spans with both minimal head room and tight storage space availability to stack the screens when unlocked, opened and not in use.  Furthermore, the openings have very noticeable sloping floors.

ATDC’s S06 commercial security screens provided the ideal solution to these challenges.  Secured with  a slimline heavy duty extruded aluminium top track which requires very little overhead clearance supported from a robust top support beam, these doors were installed on a parallel top track .This configuration reduced the side stacking requirement to a mere 8% of the total span being secured.  And a system of self adjusting bottom internal metal inserts allowed the door to traverse the gradient in the floor quite easily.

CURVED TRELLIS SECURITY DOORS SECURE TENANCIES WITHIN YAGAN SQUARE, PERTH

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed multiple curved trellis security doors for numerous tenancies within the Market Hall in Yagan Square, a Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) redevelopment project in the heart of Perth’s CBD.

Yagan Square is a landmark civic space situated within Perth City Link and between the city’s major transport hubs. Yagan Square is a unique place infused with local flavour and Aboriginal culture that inspires people to meet, connect and celebrate.

Specified by Maddison Architects, these curved security doors utilize multiple intermediate up/down locking mechanisms to achieve a seamless lock up for the tenants without the need for any floor track to secure the tenancies. Finished in a special Interpon Dulux Matt Black Ace Powdercoated finish, these doors turn on a 90 degree angle through a 600mm radius curve. Retractable Security Shutters for Hotels

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has recently supplied its high end S09 retractable security shutters to an upmarket hotel project in Barbados.

Specified by Elements Architecture Ltd out of St James,Barbados, multiple shutters  were exported from Australia for this project.The end client was the  internationally renowned  Paradise Seeker Group which specializes in luxury resort accommodation with an emphasis on sophisticated style and taste.

PERFORATED FOLDING DOORS FOR SECURITY FOR AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has recently installed folding doors  for security at The Australian National University’s Hancock Library in Canberra.

Specified by The Mill Design Company ,the project involved the installation of ATDC’s wide panel 300mm folding door in a black powdercoated finish.Unique to this project was the special radius curved aperture as well as the specification requiring the top half of the door to have a perforated mesh infill for ventilation whilst the bottom half had a polycarbonate infill.Like so many of ATDC’s projects the company had to deal with the challenge of sloping floors.Here again the adjustability in the throw of ATDC’s down locking mechanisms assisted in achieving seamless lock up for the customer.For further technical information on these doors visit https://www.trellisdoors.com.au/products/commercial-security/folding-doors-and-shop-doors
