ATDC has recently installed its slimline RS8 Aluminium security roller grilles to the storefront at True Thai Massage at McKillop Street in Melbourne’s CBD

Roller Grille Design Specifications

The RS8 economy roller grille on this project was a 3000mm wide x 2500mm high system, manually operated and key lockable. The grille curtain consisted of aluminium tubing connected by injection molded black nylon connectors which create and form the system’s unique brick pattern appearance. The curtain rolls up and retracts into a slimline overhead pelmet box. Electric operation is an option for larger sized applications.

Roller Grille Applications

This roller grilles allows both ventilation as well as through visibility making it the ideal deterrent for securing serveries and bars, reception counters and benchtops, storefronts, arcades, alcoves and food service establishments.

Warranty

A 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.

ATDC has recently supplied its OH+S safety tested S04-1 mobile trackless trellis safety retractable barriers to secure the 50 lineal metre rectangular shaped lease line perimeter of the large freestanding fruit store at Stanhope Village Shopping Centre at Stanhope Gardens, a suburb in Sydney’s Western suburbs.

Safety Barrier Project Design Specifications

Four interconnecting trackless trellis doors were supplied to span the 4-sided rectangular shape of this 50 metre freestanding kiosk shopfront each to a height of 2m. Each system was assembled in easily moveable interconnecting sections through a series of auto locking mechanisms. Running on a series of rigid steel T bases and industrial grade bottom castor wheels these completely mobile door units are flexible and completely mobile and collapsible making it cost efficient for the staff to set up quickly for trade each morning and similarly to lock up the store quickly at night. In this way the store is secured without the existence of any overhead support structure in place at all.

Colour range

The doors on this installation were supplied in a professionally finished black satin Powdercoat. Pearl white is an optional alternate standard powder coat. Special powder coated finishes are available however at an additional cost and with an extended lead time.

Warranty

Whilst a 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies, it is recommended that since these doors are completely mobile and relocatable and therefore are not attached permanently to the building structure that the customer considers an ongoing preventative maintenance contract.

ATDC has recently supplied its cutting edge S08 curved folding security door to secure the curved lease line perimeters of two island kiosks to the food court for a project by Singapore’s Housing and Development Board.

Project Design Specifications

Approximately four (4) custom designed curved folding doors were supplied on this unique project each door spanning approximately 9.5metres in width x 2700mm in height and each door traversing 2 x 90-degree curves through a standard 600mm radius. Each system was fabricated in easily manageable sections through a series of intermediate up/down locks which facilitate seamless lock up without the need for any cumbersome removeable mullions or clumsy removeable floor track. The 40mm x 40mm extruded heavy duty top track in turn provides a further advantage in that it obviates the need for any overhead headroom clearance requirement (whilst however still requiring an overhead support structure)

Specifying Architect

The Specifying architect for the project was Singapore based MKPL Architect. Project managers and builders were Ancon Anda Pty Ltd.

Colour range

The doors on this project were supplied in a standard black satin Powdercoat. Pearl white is an additional standard powder coat option. Special finishes are available at a premium at with an extended lead time.

Warranty

12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies. With the project being located in Singapore, the customer agreed to purchase additional shares of key components to facilitate speedy repairs and service in the event of any functional issues in the event they develop over time.

Maximum Design Specifications

Whilst the design specifications differ from product to product, some model types can be manufactured to a maximum height of 4500mm whilst the maximum span is unlimited.

Unobtrusive Configuration

These security doors as a general rule will fold sideways to a minimum storage size of just 15% of the opening which it is securing. This side compaction size can be further reduced so as to be virtually invisible by running the gates on multiple parallel top tracks. Curved doors are also achievable including S-bend configurations.

General Design Specifications

These security gates are available in either extruded aluminium sections or alternatively in box section steel components and in both cases the trellis framed pattern infill mesh expands to the side either with the option of a heavy-duty top track and bottom rail. The need for a bottom rail can be alleviated however through utilizing a series of up and down key turn shoot bolt locking options.

ATDC has installed its transparent RS7 roller shutter to a very large store front at the new Mad Mex store which recently opened at Stanhope Gardens, in Sydney.

Mad Mex is a multinational chain of Mexican fast-food restaurants.

The very wide shopfront opening is secured by a single electric operated roller shutter 6500mm wide x 3200mm high. It has a midrail installed in the centre of the shutter curtain which provides extra stability, and two (2) high quality Omega key switches were installed as an extra security control and loss prevention tool. Shutters spanning such a wide frontage in a single unit are not recommended for external installations.

ATDC has installed its premium grade FC1 folding doors to secure the storefront for iconic global casual wear clothing brand, Uniqlo’s store at Melbourne Emporium in Lonsdale Street in the city’s CBD.

Painted in a sleek white powder coated finish and with the door curtain containing perforated mesh infills, this large size door was designed to suit an opening of 8 metres in width and nearly 4 metres in height. Locking is through a series of seamless up/down locking mechanisms that engage simultaneously into receivers in both the top track and floor.
