Aussie Folding Barricades used to Guide Public to Singapore’s Coronavirus Screening Stations

The Australian Trellis Door Company’s (ATDC) folding barricades have recently been installed to the premises of Lifelong Learning Institute in Singapore to guide pedestrians to the Coronavirus temperature screening stations.

The project was sold, designed  and Installed by Standard Rolling Shutters Pty Ltd, ATDC’s local distributor in Singapore, these folding barricades are a perfect crowd control device since they are trackless, mobile and secure. Installed to a height of 2000mm,they run on a series of 75mm rubber reinforced non marking heavy duty bottom castors and can either be secured with wall mounted or floor mounted locking devices. Available up to a height of 2500mm high these folding barricades are independently audited and OH+S Tested for workplace safety.

Installation of Retractable Barriers at CSL Behring Melbourne

ATDC has recently completed a large installation of its retractable barriers at CSL Behring’s Melbourne head office. (www.trellisdoors.com.au)

CSL Behring (www.cslbehring.com.au) is a global leader in the plasma protein therapeutics industry and is the chosen national plasma fractionator for Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan.

CSL utilized ATDC’s retractable barrier at each end of the production lines in their Melbourne production facility to assist management in maintaining a clean, sterile area and so assisting their strict quality control and OH+S requirements.

Retractable Barrier Systems

ATDC’s trackless retractable barrier was CSL’s preferred product to resolve their OH+S and quality control issues-the retractable barrier is formidable and strong given its rigid steel construction and its multi-point locking mechanisms provide a secure lockup solution whilst its trackless construction mean its economical and flexible. Furthermore the retractable barriers fold back to a mere 12% of the opening width they are securing making them extremely space efficient. Read more information about our retractable barriers here.

ATDC’s retractable barriers are also available in a double diamond mesh configuration meaning the cross linkages are tightly woven together resulting in a 65 mm pitch between the steel sections making it virtually impossible for a person to put their hand through the door to reach objects on the other side of the barrier. With ATDC’s retractable barrier having keyless egress locking in cases requiring emergency exit, BCA compliance can be achieved in most applications.

Additional Security Applications
