The Australian Trellis Door Company™ (ATDC™) has installed its formidable security door at the Woolworths Supermarket at Hope Island near Brisbane.

Sliding Security Doors
The Australian Standard compliant security door was installed at the main entry to the store on behalf of Aspect Design, the project manager and builder on the project, in an effort to deter break and enters to the premises.
(For more information on ATDC’s compliance with the Australian Standards for sliding security doors please see our article)
Security Door Features
The S06 security door was selected for numerous reasons, including the fact that when not in use during trading hours it retracts sideways and folds completely out of the way so as not to impede customer access and further so as not to obstruct visibility of merchandise. At night however, when the store is closed, the security door provides an excellent deterrent.
How Does it Work?
This Australian Standard compliant security door has numerous security features including a 5 pin cylinder, triple contact tamper resistant lock with anti-jemmy protection, and a full heavy duty frame. As such the S06 security door provides Woolworths and many other businesses in Brisbane with the level of protection that many owners demand and many insurance companies now require from their clients.
The S06 security is galvanised and powdercoated in either a satin black or pearl white finish as a standard. Other powdercoated finishes are available on request to blend in with almost any corporate colour environment.

Which Stores Are We Supplying and Why?
The S06™ security door is being fitted in BWS, Dan Murphy’s and Dick Smith Electronics stores across Australia for the following reasons:
Firstly, whilst providing a formidable security barrier by night, these concertina security doors fold back out of the way and out of sight by day, allowing for maximum showcasing of merchandise during trading hours; and
Secondly, by night there is optimum visibility through these security barriers, allowing for 24/7/365 display of merchandise.
What Are ATDC’s Doors Securing?
The S04™ trellis security door is being installed nationally in Woolworths and Caltex Petrol stations to secure power distributions boards, whilst permitting ventilation through the security door when locked.
The S04-1™ mobile security barrier is being installed in Australia wide in Big W stores to separate the Optometrist section of the business from the rest of the store. These security barriers are trackless requiring no top support structure, and are wheeled away during trading hours and stored out of the way in designated cupboards.
The Australian Trellis Door Co (ATDC™) is the leading supplier of specialist security door systems to the Australian retail industry.
ATDC has been involved in numerous high profile national store rollouts for some of this country’s leading retailers, including Woolworths, Wesfarmers, Harvey Norman, Telstra and many others.
